About Us
The Multicultural Resource Center of Massachusetts (MRC) is a non-profit organization that provides direct services in the Western Massachusetts area to immigrants and refugees. Our specific objectives are to promote the wellness of the entire community, to assist refugees and immigrants with adaptation processes after migration, and to facilitate their successful engagement with new systems and environments.
What We Do
The MRC assists newcomers by actively encouraging self-sufficiency for them and their families, building bridges with the larger community, and fostering the maintenance of the refugee cultural identity by helping them overcome socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic barriers.
Our Services
The MRC provides extensive services to immigrants and refugees including but not limited to preparation of documents and forms, translation and interpretation, notary public, and referrals for key issues affecting immigrants and refugees such as adult education, health, labor, social services, safety, housing, and legal assistance .
